Timm and Judith. Judith and Timm. Together we are timjudi photography. We are married and content with it, we are proud parents of Anouk Ida and Leonard Carl, we are able to laugh, argue and photograph together. At one point we discovered photography to be more than a hobby for us. We`re autodidacts, started photography as children already. Judith depicted her selfmade jewelry and Timm was after aircraft, which are still very present in our life today.

We are quite different characters. Judith loves talking, is rather extrovert and her favourite lens is the wide-angle. Timm is the rather quiet on-looker who works best with a telephoto lens. Judith likes to sew, did dance to hiphop (before Timm appeared in her life), is into interior design, fair fashion and selfmade food. Before Anouk appeared in our life, Timm used to be on the road with many bands as a drummer. Timm can talk for hours about music (Indiefolk/rock, not mainstream or hiphop), travelling and airplanes.

What is common to us is love for each other and for our kids, for travelling, for french coffee and cocktails, for reading, for sleeping long and having extended breakfasts. Bohemian you could say. Our favourite place to be and the place where we live is the colourful, wild Neustadt part of Dresden. But as we love to discover new places we are up for destination weddings, worldwide. Apart from being passionate wedding photographers  we photograph families, kids, portraits and business portraits. Our picture style has evolved over the years and presently we admire the work of Anton Corbijn and Fer Juaristi most. Our core values follow here:

We wish to create images that last a lifetime. Pictures you can view in fourty years and recall that special day as it was yesterday. Pictures that retell the story of your wedding over and over. Picture you can show your grandchildren while you hold each other with wrinkled hands. That`s why we want to create high-value, timeless and authentic reportages.

AESTHETIC AND GENUINE

Weddings have their own aesthetics. It`s not about perfection and high gloss, but fond and elaborated details honor the guests and point out the significance of that day. We are really touched, when love, friendship and feelings of security comes to the fore. We love that radiance, that spell, which we discover amongst the bridal couple and their loved ones. This is beauty. The small gestures and moments that are too easily forgotten on that plentiful day. To make this spell visible in pictures is our vision.

OFFBEAT AND FREE 

We love to see couples doing their own thing and not just do things because "you have to". Having the courage to question traditions, let go of them and celebrate according to their own rules. This inspires us!

RELAXED AND AMBITIOUS

Besides all the joyful togetherness of bridal couples we feel attracted to the fact that there are still two unique personalities which we try to picture and sometimes that produces mystical, casual, odd....different images.
